Step one - choose a direction

Four directions for the site.

Hi Julie, here are four design directions for the website. Each one uses the colours from your butterfly logo with a different pairing of fonts, and each has a mocked-up hero section so you're not trying to picture it from a swatch.

You asked for something between clean & minimal and bold & eye-catching, so none of these are stark and none are loud. The main differences are which colour leads, and what the headline font does. Have a look through and tell me which feels right - if there's one you mostly like with bits of another, we can mix them.

Option 1

Stillness

Cream background, deep teal text, sage as a soft accent. Calm rather than clinical.

Option 2

Bloom

Raspberry and peach do the heavy lifting, gold warms it up. Pulls straight from your existing logo.

Option 3

Anchor

Deep teal carrying most of the design, with cream type and just a touch of raspberry. The most formal of the four.

Option 4

Open Sky

Peach background with sage leading and coral on the accents. The lightest and most contemporary of the four.

How to read each page

Each page opens with the colour palette - those colours would be used across the whole site, not just the hero. Below that are the two fonts I'd pair, one for headings and one for body copy. At the bottom is a sample hero, which is the bit of the homepage someone sees first, so you can get a feel for how everything works together.

Pick a favourite, or tell me what's close-but-not-quite, and I'll dial it in from there.
